Robert Isaac Steinberger (*1989, Cologne, Germany), since 2011 based in Zurich. BA in Fine Arts from San Diego State University, USA. Co-founder of the artist & curatorial collective FRICTION, founded 2012 in Zurich (http://www.friction.ch/). FRICTION has curated two artist-run-spaces in Zurich: the infamous Perla-Mode and the Nordflügel, part of the theatre Gessnerallee Zürich. I do solo work as performance and multimedia artist and curator. Most recently I performed / showed solowork at Stadtgalerie Bern (Exhibition: Nichts Neues) and the Catch of the Year 2015 exhibition at Dienstgebäude, Zürich. I also recently performed as the face and host of Keren Cytter's First Summer Fest of Western Liberation, at Réunion, Zürich in June 2016.
