Born in 1968 in Zürich. Lives and works in Zürich. Attended the Chur Handelsschule from 1985 to 1988 and the Zürich Textilfachschule, followed by five years professional experience in purchasing. From 1995 to 1999 studied fine art at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste in Zürich. Since 1996 Zilla Leutenegger regularly shows her work in solo and group exhibitions both in Switzerland and abroad.
