Rein Wolfs studied art history in Amsterdam and was 1996 founder and director of the Migrosmuseum für Gegenwartskunst in Zürich. From 2001 to 2006 he worked as a curator at Museum Bojmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam. Since 2006 he is director of the Kunsthalle Fridericianum.
