Mark von Schlegell is author of the novels Venusia, Mercury Station (Semiotexte, 2005 & 2009), High Wichita (Matthes & Seitz, 2011) and New Dystopia (Sternberg Press, 2011) and the critical work Realometer : American Romance (Merve Verlag, 2009). His essays and stories have appeared in Artforum, Parkett, Frieze, Mousse and numerous art books and catalogs. He currently teaches at Staedelschule, Frankfurt.
